Questions on Fantasmic Dinner package..

I'm sure this has been asked before and I tryed to do a search for the information but either the Dis boards are having problems or my computer is but I'm not coming up with anything so I'm hoping someone can help me with the information.

I was wondering What time does Fantasmic start? we are going to be there Aug 15-20th.

What time do people make their reservations? Do you eat and then wait and come back for your seating for Fantasmic or do you do dinner right before and then hope to get there on time. And my last question how early do you go to get your seat in the special set aside area?

They tell you to get there 45 minutes ahead of time. Some people get there even sooner and the front rows of seating fill up fast.

I believe Fantasmic is 8:30p in August, at least the end of August anyway. All you have to do is go to the park hours at the Disney website to see the time when you are there.

When you call for the package, they tell you what they have left for reservations for the package and it's always enough time to get to the show...usually around 2 hours (or more) before the show. They will give you a range of times between 3:30p and probably 6:30p (2 hours before the show if it's at 8:30p).

We are going to the Fantasmic Show on Aug 9 at 9pm. Our dinner package at Holleywood and VIne ressies are for 7 which the CM said would be plenty of time.. Hope this helps..

Ours is for Aug 29th and its at 6:20. Plenty of time since its a buffet there is basically no waiting for your food. Which my kids love.

Usually 9pm in the summer, since it doesn't really get dark enough before that time. There is usually a second show too, around 10:30, depending on when you are there.

It is a good show. Not as good as the original Disneyland version though. I'm sure you will enjoy it.

just a bit of advice.Try and get a later ressie if you want to watch the parade.Think it starts around 5.00.
I booked my dinner for 6.30 to allow me plenty of time to watch the parade and then mooch on over to the restaurant
