Questions on adding dining and tickets

My aunt just used her RCI points to get a 2BR unit at BCV for Jan 2011. How long do we have to add on the dining plan, and what is the cost? Who would she need to call to add on the dining? Also we are planning on purchasing our park tickets through undercover tourist. I remember reading somewhere that you can put them on your key to the world card at check in if they are unused, is this true?

You can add the DDP at least 48 hours prior to check-in. The 2010 prices for the basic dining plan are:

Disney Dining Plan Pricing:

* $41.99 per night, per Guest ages 10+
* $11.99 per night, per Guest ages 3-9

Yes, you can add UT tix to your KTTW card. I have done it multiple times.

Those are current 2010 prices, as the trip is in January 2011, there may be a price change. The 2011 DDP prices have not yet been announced.

She will need to call DVC Member Services to add the Dining Plan. The contact number should be noted on the RCI confirmation.

Yes, as of right now, that is still the policy. Sometime in late summer or early fall, they are supposed to change the computer software and the DDP will have to be paid for at the time it is added to the reservation.

But, if you already have a reservation with it added, then you won't have to worry about it until you check in.
