Wow, I have lots of questions. We are booked on the Wonder for Dec 5th. This will be our 1st ever cruise. Our party will include me of course, my DH, 4 year old DS and my mother.

1. My DH is concerned there won't be food available 24 hours a day. He has heard that is the best part about a cruise food all the time.

2. What time should we arrive at the Port? I am thinking around 11:00. I want to be sure to board at the very start and then head straight for the Palo reservations.

3. If we go to the Palo reservations at the very first what kind of chance do we have to get the night we want? Since we have a 4 year old and the late seating, I am guessing we will have AP for dinner the 1st night with it repeating on the last night. So that is when I want to go to Palo's. If we don't get the last night what other night would be good?

4. Can anyone recomend a nice shore excursion in Nassau that doesn't involve alot of walking or getting wet? My mother doesn't do either very well.

5. If we bring our own snorkeling equipment, do you still have to pay to snorkel at Castaway Cay? Can our 4 year old go snorkeling with us?

6. This is a 4 night cruise so I believe there is also a Palo's brunch too. Can I make both thos reservations or is there a line for each and thus I would need to take someone else with me?

7. If you get a time at Palo's that is when you are should be in the evening show, can you go to the other show?

Okay enough questions for now.
Thanks for all the info you provide.

Room service is available 24 hours altho we have never used it. Always too full from the regular meals.

11 sounds good for arriving at the port altho you will have a shorter wait in line to board if you get there around 10:30.

If you get in the line for Palo's as soon as you board, you will probably get the time close to what you want. There were 2 separate lines for brunch and dinner on our 10/2 cruise so you would need to have someone in each line. If you have to choose one or the other, I would go for the brunch.

You can go to either the early or late show -- no one checks to see what your dining assignment is.

Have a great time!

There is no charge if you bring your own snorkel equipment. Disney requires that you wear their vests while you snorkel, but they loan then to you free if you have your own equipment.

Oh, also forgot to mention. We took the 3 hour tour of Nassau the first time we went. It is always interesting to us to see the area and learn a bit about the culture and history. There is a bit of walking but for the most part you are in a van.

Thank you for asking these questions - they are my remaining ones. We would have exactly matched your cruise situation, however my MIL is now not joining us. Other than that - we are Dec 5, late seating with 4 yr old (DD vs. DS). I heard the twilight zone music playing when I read your post. Let's hope that some one can answer your questions. I was looking at some older navigators from Dave's DCLTribute site and palo's brunch was listed for the 4 day. I thought I'd read snorkling was for 5 and older but that may be just for rental of their equipment or perhaps it was an excursion. I'm sure one of the vets will come along to correct me if I am wrong.

Maybe our kids will meet up with each other in the children's events. Of course from my sign in name, my son's name is Thomas.
