Hello -

I am so happy to have found this forum! Had my 1st Disney trip in March and so excited to start my album for our trip as got bitten by the Disney bug and planning our 2nd trip from December 2013 - so gives me some time to plan :thumbsup2

I have been doing traditional scrapbooking on and off for about 15 years but have gotten into it more heavily in the last 6 years or so; probably because had my kids and wanted them to have these memories. I am behind - what scrapper isn't ;) So I have a few questions and figured I would just jump right in and ask them:

1) If you do traditional and digital do you put them in the same albums? I am just wondering if you do that do the digital pages look so flat as they were no dimenison to them without the different layers?

2) Also I love to do 12 X 12 books and want to know where I print them as my printer sure won't.

3) Lastly I have noticed programs being listed you use for digital scrapbooking, does anyone just use a program like PSE and do there own layers?

HI!

I have some digital lo's in my computer waiting to be printed- soon as I get to that point in my books. I have used them to get caught up with pictures that dont have anything to go with them. I am going to just put them in with the other layouts. I plan on printing through costco or persnickety prints- I have heard nothing but great stuff about them from the digital designers/scrappers I follow on facebook.

I have PSE but I havent used it. I have used CM storybook creator and gimp.

Hope that Helps

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Haven't seen a "real" album though to know how it would look. May just try it and see. I print my 12x12 pages at Costco. Have had great luck with them.

Thanks for the info! Will have to check out Persnickety prints as I don't have a Costco membership. I appreciate the names of the programs and will have to check them out and see what I want to do.

I am with yo have seen anything like that yet. Will have to try a couple of spreads and see how it goes. Honestly never got into digital scrapbooking as I really enjoy the traditional and love how you get a 3 dimensional feel for the pages.
