Questions for those that have booked DCL on points??

I have done this and would not do it again. For that number of points I could have had 4 vacations instead of one very short one. The food was slightly better than some other cruise lines but that is not saying much. When it comes down to comparing quality over quantity a standard disney vacation wins in both categories... higher quality and more quantity.

ETA: Think about it. You are giving up going to the greatest vacation spot on the entire planet several times for a small cruise where you have the least amount of control over your vacation. It is essentially a floating summer camp.

True, you do get more for your points if you stay on land--however, DCL is far from a floating summer camp! We absolutely love DCL. We are getting rather tired of WDW and have found DCL to be extremely relaxing. We love the pampering! Afterall, as DVC members, we don't ever get our villa cleaned and on DCL they clean twice a day! Also I've NEVER had anyone at WDW offer to cut-up DS's food, and on DCL, they won't let me do it! I don't agree with your quality comparison, but do with your quantity comparison.
