Originally I was looking for names of reputable people to come sit with our elderly dog in our room. (She cannot be boarded) But no one responded, so for those who bring their dogs with them to stay at one of the resorts I have a few questions. We’re looking at staying at the Yacht club or Cabins at FW with our fur babies. (Might bring other pup for company with our elderly one)
Questions: How did you like it? Was it hard going back and forth to take your dog out? Was the resort actually pet friendly? How did you do it, sitter, left them alone (if so how long?), or boarded them daily? Was it too much work & did it take away from enjoying your trip? Any tips or warnings yall would like to share?
We’re at the point either we cancel or take them. The two usual people I get to pup sit them are not available & the pups wouldn’t be ok with someone only coming to my house a few times a day. They need more.
