I'm a beginner as far as computer expertise is concerned. Why do the messages on the DIS boards sometimes display Greenwich Mean Time and at other times display EST? I am wondering if it's possible to set my computer so that the messages display EST time continuously? Also, sometimes the posts that I've read, remain highlighted when I return to the boards at a later time----other times they don't. Is there any way to keep them highlighted after I've read them?
