Questions for experienced DVC

I have a question for all of you experienced DVC'ers. I am relatively new to this. I noticed on the DVC web site that there is not a point allocation for 2010 Conciege collection. Has that been discontinued? Also, have any of you been on the Disney Cruises as adult only trips. DH and I have been on many cruises (Royal Caribbean, Princess, Celebrity) and loved them, but we have heard that Disney is nice and were thinking about trying one. We are 60 and 62, but like active cruising (snorkling, beaching, shows on board, dancing, etc.) Any advice will be appreciated. We did a ABD trip to Italy in September and loved it, but the prices and points for 2010 seem high so we are looking for other options. Thanks for any advice you may have.

The non-DVC options (like DCL, other Disney resorts and Concierge Collection) are negotiated separately and those point charts are often released later in the fall for the coming year.

Stay Tuned! :)

We were on the Wonder 3 day cruise with another couple and our 17 year old two years ago and loved it. We have the 4 day cruise planned for Feb. without the teenager this time. We are all in our 50's and active. Since three of us work in school settings and my DH loves kids we didn't have any problem having kids around.

We spent time in the adult only areas which were quiet. We didn't hang around the kid's pools. Having the kids present for the sail away party was great because of the high energy and their excitement was fun the watch.

We ate with the first seating and I don't remember any problems with noisey kids. I can't recall any disruptive kids and there had to be a lot of children present, they must have been at the kids club all day!

Since I love Disney I had fun.

Thanks so much for the info. I went to the DCL web site last night and we liked what we saw. I taught Kindergarten for 26 years, so kids really don't bother me! I also have 6 grandchildren. We were just looking for some couple trips for 2010.
