Questions - Escape & Sunset Pointe

I have a few questions I hope someone can answer:

I have been to Sunset Pointe and know what it looks like but wondered if Disney does anything to it when a wedding is on?
Do they put chairs out for guests?
Where do they do the cake cutting ceremony?
How long does the musician stay?

Hi! I just married at Sunset Point last month! I'll try to answer your questions best that I can:

When you say do anything to it, do you mean decorate it? They didn't for me, but i also didn't request anything be done. I would think that the light posts would be pretty with bows on them though.


Yes they will put chairs out for your quests. There was no one there but us and our daughter and I requested no chairs so that there wouldn't be empty chairs in the pictures.

The cake table is set up to the right as you are walking down the isle. It is about halfway down.

The violinist did not stay very long due to how cold it was. The day we got married, it was in the low 40s with very high winds. He gave his coat to our daughter, and played our dance and cake cutting music without a jacket. As soon as he saw that we were wrapping it up (which we did quickly because of the weather), he thanked us for letting him be part of our day and slipped off. If we had stayed longer, eating cake and stuff, he would have stayed also.

The violinist stayed for little over an hour for our wedding. He was there before I arrived playing for the guests at the site and stayed until formal pictures started at like 3:20pm. Our wedding started earlier than 2:30 as they thought it was going to rain.

Yes, you dance on the exact opposite side of where the cake is set up.

Shaun & his family arrived there at 2:00pm.

Clean-up started around 3:30pm while we were starting to take pictures with Randy so it was about 1.5 hours of site time.
