First of all, I want to thank the people who put together that site. It's an amazing free resource.

I have a couple questions about how the site works in terms of scraping and configuring alerts.

(1) Do alerts only go out when a "new" listing hits a desired threshold (points, price, etc.)? Or does an alert go out when an existing contract is re-priced and places it into a desired threshold (such as an SSR contract is re-priced from $100 to $90pp, which hits an alert target parameter)?

(2) Is there a way to search for recently reduced listings?

(3) What is the lag time between when a site post and a contract appears on DVCFL? Anecdotally, it's been a couple of hours recently? But maybe that had to do with site maintenance?

Again, I'm just trying to better understand the system and use it. And I'm grateful for all the work that was put into this aggregator!

I can speak to question 1.

The alerts I've set up alert me when the listings that fit my search criteria have any sort of change. It will give me any new listing for X resort, and will also tell me when a price reduction (or sometimes even a price increase, which do actually happen every once in awhile) occurs for a listing that is already on there. Edited to note that I specifically didn't set a price per point limit when I set up these alerts.
