Greetings!

I'm taking my 3 daughters (15, 12, 7) to the park next week! Staying May 5-9 at the HOJO. I'm VERY behind in planning and am hoping for some help, as our last trip was in Oct. 07.

Is GRR and Roger Rabbit still "disconnected" from the fastpass system, as they were in 2007?

I'd prefer to catch a cab from John Wayne to the HOJO. Should I make a ressie for pickup at the airport, or am I safe to just grab a cab off the curb and get the same rate?

We'll have one MM. If I'm in the parks Weds - Sat., should I use my MM on Thursday, assuming even smaller crowds mid-week, or wait to use in on Sat?

Thanks in advance for your help! I'm sure a few more questions will come to mind.

I usually just grab a cab from SNA. It's quick and that airport is pretty small so I've never had to wait to get a cab. It's also one less thing to have to plan. Cost is under $40. I've never scheduled a private transfer so can't comment on the cost.

If I only had one MM, I would use it earlier in the trip and not focus on the specific day. By the end of the trip, it's a little harder to wake the troops and energy levels are usually lower.

Have a great trip :)

When I was there last (Dec. 09), Roger Rabbit was still disconnected. I am not sure about GRR, I have never used a fastpass.

Good luck, have fun. Sorry I can't help more.

Not sure of the hours of the park next week, but I would use the MM on the day that the park opens earliest. In our experience it seems like the earlier the MM, the better. A lot of people can't get up that early. :goodvibes

Roger Rabbit was "disconnected" last time we tried it, and it is still widely reported to be.

GRR was no longer disconnected starting sometime last year. We checked for ourselves last August to be sure. People on other boards have reported as recently as last week that GRR is longer disconnected.

What do you mean by disconnected?

The rides that offer fastpasses are connected so that you cannot grab a bunch of them at the same time. The exceptions to this rule are that the parks are disconnected, so that you can get a fastpass for a ride at Disneyland, then go over to California Adventure and grab another fastpass without having to wait (usually 2 hours or when the return time is up, whichever is less). The other exception is Roger Rabbit. So you can grab a fastpass for let's say Indiana Jones, and then go to Toontown and get one for Roger Rabbit without having to wait.
