Questions about Universal Annual Pass (from UK)

First time visiting Universal for 20 years! Eeek

Leaving the UK by Boat on 14th Dec arriving in New York 21st Dec

Driving down to FL to be at Universal 23rd Dec staying there till New Year’s Day then driving back to NY for boat back to UK

Planning a few trips over during 2025 so decided to get an annual pass. Can order in advance from UK using a VPN. Is it best to do that or can you just turn up at park and buy an annual pass on arrival.

Any tips or advice really appreciated. (Plan on getting the top pass with no blackouts etc )

You can just show up at the parks (or your hotel, if a Universal hotel) and buy it there. I don't think they're discounted online so there's not really much incentive to buy early - and you're close enough to your dates that I sincerely doubt there'd be a price increase in the next 2 weeks. Unless there is a discounted price for UK buyers?

If you're planning to show up around park opening time, there'll probably be quite a line at the ticket desk. That'd be the main down side to buying in person at the park. Buying from an onsite hotel will eliminate this problem, or buying during a less busy part of the day.

Hoping to get in to Orlando early evening on the 22nd was thinking maybe driving over to city walk (think parking is free in the evening) and picking it up then if we make it in time so ready to go for early entry on the 23rd if that makes sense

Yeah no discounts online officially we can’t buy the pass from uk it diverts to a uk site that just does weekly passes so for an annual pass in advance have to use a vpn and buy via the US site so buying on arrival is probably less hassle

Good plan - that will also give you your free parking for the 23rd, since you'll have the AP in hand entering the parking garage. You could of course also pop into the park that evening if desired.
