We will be headed to Disney with a 3 month old, DS3, DD6, DS8, my husband, and me. We go every year and have traveled with a baby before, but this situation will be a little different since we will have 3 kids + 1 adult riding while I take breaks to breastfeed.

I know kids must be 7 to ride alone, but does that apply in different rows of the same ride vehicle? For example, Could the 6 and 8 year old go on TSM on one side and my hubby and the 3 year old on the other? What about a ride like Winnie the Pooh where they are both facing the same way so we could see them?

We will also need to use Rider Swap. Has anyone heard of cast members allowing verification via FaceTime? I would like to send my husband to Splash and then BTMRR when I nurse in the Baby Care Center. I don't particularly want to be nursing and bringing the other two kids to each ride if we are across the park. My DS3 is disabled and needs breaks as well, to make it more complicated. Has anyone been successful in just showing the baby and mom in a different park area in FaceTime? Ideally, I could camp out in an air-conditioned area and nurse while he picked up a rider swap before his rides.

Thanks!

I would be prepared for the 6 and 8 year olds not being allowed to ride together per rules. have read where so have been allowed and others have not at same rides. my guess is Face Time will not be allowed for rider swap as how can it be proved that you are in the park. at MK not sure if 3 year old would be allowed in nursing area with you as if I remember correctly it is not private rooms but one nursing room. if I am correct dads were not allowed in

In my experience, they will not allow the 6 and 8 to ride together. In fact, last year on IASW my 13 year old couldn't ride with my 5 and 11 year olds in the row directly behind my husband, myself and our 1 year old. My 5 year old had to move to the row with us- it just didn't cross our minds that this wouldn't be allowed in that scenario. This year will be so much easier now that she is 14. I have found them to be pretty strict with the policy.

I have no experience with that Rider Swap scenario.

They will not let the 6 year old go in the row behind. We were at Disney when I was 5 weeks pregnant with #5 and DH had several issues because our kids were 3, 6, 8, 10 at the time and he couldn't be with the 3 and 6yo at the same time. H gas to do rider switch with them.
