Questions about the Tiki Village Resort

We normally stay on property, but my grandma has a time share at the Tiki Village Resort, so we're staying there for 4 nights in April.

Have any of you stayed there? I know its only a few minutes off WDW property. Negative/positive reviews welcomed.

Try posting on the Orlando Hotels & Attractions board, also try using Trip Adivsor, just remember to take everyone's reviews witha grain of salt!

We stayed there in June of 2005 and really enjoyed it. We were in one of the townhouse style rooms - the kitchen/LR/one bathroom were downstairs with 2 BRs and second bath upstairs. Our kids loved the "water park" style pool with the multiple slides. It was quiet and seemed to have plenty of amenities (bikes, surrey bikes, etc), but we only ever used the pools and the room. It also had it's own washer/dryer in-room which was nice - I'm not fond of the oft-overcrowded communal laundry rooms at some timeshares I've been to.

I love it there! My kids actually prefer to stay there instead of Disney, but I prefer Disney. I tried to get it again for upcoming trip, but it wasn't available. I would suggest you trying for a one floor unit, they are the newer units. The pool is awesome
