Questions about the Segway tour

I booked my boyfriend and myself to do the Segway tour in Sept. We have to be at Guest Services in Spaceship Earth at 8:15 am
My questions are: 1) Where exactly is the Guest Services in Spaceship Earth??????

2) If the park opens at 9am and we are suppose to be there at 8:15 - if we drove would the parking lot be open? Would the buses be running so we could be there on time?

I know many of you have done the tour and can answer my questions.

We did the tour in May and loved it!

Guest Services is the building that is kind of under Spaceship earth (not right under it - across from the base). As you are walking in it would be to your left (like under the giant hand). Hope that helps.

The busses will be running early enough and the parking lot will be open. The turnstyles won't be and there will be lines. There is one turnstyle on the far right that should have someone with a clipboard. Your name will be on a list and they will let you in there.

This is a great tour and I highly recommend it!

Just a word of advise, when you arrive at Epcot, you need to go in through the line on the far right (the sign says Princess Breakfast). The person with the clipboard will be standing there and will check you off of the list. We stood in line for a while waiting to be let in because we thought the far right line was ONLY for the Princess Breakfast.

My DH is taking the tour in Sept. We will be staying at BCV. Will there be someone at the Boardwalk path entrance to let him through at around 7:45 and he can walk to Guest Services from that side of park? Thanks, Jo

We're doing this on 8/17. DS(16) and me!! Now the problem is the photo id thing. We applied for passports 4 weeks ago and hopefully will have them in time, but what do I do for DS if it doesn't come in time?? He has a photo High school Id and his N.J. drivers permit, do you think that will be enough??

You had to see the expression on the face of the girl at the passport office when she asked if we were going out of the country. "Nope, just going to Epcot!!". Then we had to explain the whole id thing.

Yes, any photo ID of that type is fine. Most people just use their driver license.
