Questions about the beach club?

Does anyone know if its true that they dont have any charactors at Cape May Cafe breakfast anymore?

Also, is it true they have a resident alligator that lives in the pond in the Beach Club Villas?? - please say no!

We were there in April and there was still a character breakfast, Goofy, Minney, Pluto and Chip & Dale I think. I have not heard that it is discontinued. You can check the www.disneyworld.com site and see what it says, but I am sure it is.

Yes, there is a resident alligator behind the villas but he has not harmed anyone. If it looked like he would become a problem, I am sure Disney would have him relocated. We are going in November and really hope we see him, we didn't know about him in April.

We just returned from BCV. It was great. Not sure about the characters at breakfast but I believe there are some. It was really busy and a long wait even with PS on a Sunday morning.

There is a gator there. It is fun to see him in the mornings. I looked for him other times but could not find him. Lots of big fish and turtles in there for him to eat. Also the banks close to the Villas are steep and not at all to gators liking. They are going to have to remove him not sure when. but not too soon. I thought I heard his name was Gary but someone probably knows that info more than me.

We were there the end of September and there was still a character breakfast at Cape May Cafe. Chip and Dale and Gofey came around to all the tables and Minnie was the "special guest".
Every half hour she would be at the entrance for pictures and autographs.

Dont worry about the Gator. There are lots of gators down here. Not to worry.
