Questions about The Attic

Hello! I posted this on one of the Facebook groups earlier, but thought I might get some more answers here too.

Ladies who had their reception at the Attic, I need your advise! Was it weird having your wedding party broken up by having half sit inside and half outside? Do you find that your guests who were seated outside were too hot/cold depending on the time of year? What was your favorite thing about using the Attic and your least favorite? Any regrets/recommendations? I really want to use the Attic for my wedding next December because its beautiful and intimate, but I'm concerned with breaking my guests up. I don't want anyone to be uncomfortable. Any help is much appreciated!

I answered you in the group, so I won't barge in here, but I did want to add that the majority of folks who use the Attic seem to have open seating, rather than requiring guests to sit in certain places and potentially forcing them to split up. There's not even room for the type of table you'd need to seat an entire bridal party together. It's all 4-tops.

Thanks again, Carrie. I didn't mean splitting up the bridal party (we're only have a small one anyways), but rather splitting up our whole lot of guests. I feel kind of bad that some people have to sit inside and some out, but I will definitely take your advice and just have open seating so that people can sit wherever they want. I'm not too concerned about the weather since we're getting married at the beginning of December and the temps are usually pretty mild then. We have a meeting set up on Monday to go see the Attic in person and I can't wait! I hope I'm not disappointed in it, because its definitely my top choice and I hope its as nice (if not more nice) in person as it is in everyone's pictures that I've seen =o)

I had seen it in photos before our site visit and thought it looked nice, but when I actually got in there, I was giddy. The view alone is amazing, but I was also strangely transfixed by the super-shiny floors! Shiny, shiny floors.....

I am getting married at Disney next December too! Congrats! I wonder if we will be there at the same time!

We thought about having it at The Attic, but decided not to because we didn't want to split our group up. Plus, I really want to include IllumiNations in our reception and decided to just have the entire reception at the French Island in Epcot! How did you end up liking The Attic?

How fun! Our wedding is December 1, 2016. We absolutely LOVED the Attic! Its so gorgeous and you can see the Epcot ball from the balcony. The view really is spectacular. I was a little worried about splitting up our group too, but after seeing the Attic in person, it doesn't really seem like it'll be an issue at all because they will keep the doors open and everything flows nicely. Plus most of our guests will be local and see each other all the time, so I'm not too worried about it. The weather should be mild by then too.

How fun!! I'm happy you love it! We are having our wedding on December 6th.. So close! I'm now kind of wishing we chose The Attic, but I think we will still love Rue de Paris. I feel like you can't go wrong with anything at Disney for a wedding! The weather should be wonderful during that time!
