I live only two hours from seattle and a Mariner game would be great. When i went to disneyland a few years ago i went to a mariner, angles game. If you chose a taxi be verry carefull.watch the meeter. What ever hotel you chose check with the desk clerk he/she can give you some good ideals about seattle. Stay away from the food court in seattle center the food is you typical fast food and nothing speical. There is no more rides at the center they will be replaced by some kind of museum. I've been to the flight musem and it is excllent and i'm not into history of flight and i found it to intreasting have a wonderfull time in seattle and bring rain gear no mjatter what time of the year. There is a waterfront trolley that will take you within a couple blocks of the stadium, and I believe Pier 91 is pretty close. Or, from Pike Place Market, you can walk over to Westlake and take the Light Rail
