Questions about Saratoga Springs

We will be staying at Saratoga Springs for our Sept. trip. (Can't wait!!) We have decided that the Springs sections sound best for us. Can you request a specific Springs building? Are the each labeled something like 1,2,or 3/ A,B or C?? Also, we are not Vacation Club members. Will we have housekeeping? How often?? Thanks experts!!!

I have stayed at SSR before, but really didn't pay attention to building #'s etc. You can post this question on the DVC board, there are SSR experts there. You can request a specific building, but it's not guaranteed.

If you are renting points from a DVC member, you would not have daily mousekeeping. You get trash/towel service on day 4 and full cleaning on day 8. The cycle begins again at day 12. If you are paying cash, you will get dailiy mousekeeping.

We have stayed at SSR , but I would just request a room in The Springs rather than asking for a certain building. I understand that just makes it tougher to get a request met.

SSR is really nice, we own there and will be "home" in August and December.

I like Congress Park myself - you can walk over to DD very easily from these.

We stayed in the Congress Park area last year...we loved it. We were in the second building from the left on the map. The quiet pool is beautiful, and you can see Downtown Disney from the pool area. We had a room on the first floor (a suite, actually), and DD really enjoyed being able to run right from the room into the pool.

We just got back from SSR. We had a 2-bedroom suite in the Springs building right across the street from the main pool - room 4135. It was very close to everything. The only bad thing was that the Springs is the last bus stop on the route. So, even at 7:30 in the morning going to MK, we had to stand on the bus because it was filled before it even got to us.
