Questions about rides

I've riden everything in WDW from EE to RNRR to SM. I'm booked to ride ToT and Mission Space this trip, how are those rides in comparison to the others? (mainly ToT)

I've never been on Mission Space since 3D kind of rides tend to make me motion sick but I can tell you ToT is nothing like a roller coaster. It's my favorite ride in all the parks, DS and I will get off and right back on a number of times, even if it means standing in a long line. It's a series of drops and there is no telling how many drops you will get or even if they will all be full drops or partial drops. When the elevator gets to the top, the doors will open up and you get a great view of the park (it's really pretty at night). The theaming is great all the way through the ride so even the lines are fun, if you are a small person (which I am) you get the added thrill of getting air under you when it drops, which I love.

ToT is not as intense as your typical theme-park tower free fall ride. But it is more fun because of the theming and darkness and unpredictability of the drops. A great Disney ride.

MS is a spinning centrifuge ride, your best bet for getting sick if you are prone to motion sickness/claustrophobia. They have cool air blowing on you, which helps a lot, no one I've gone with has had a problem. We usually do it once every trip.

I've never ridden Mission: Space, as I have motion sickness issues and even the green side has no appeal for me.

As for ToT...we rode it for the first time last year. All of us were pretty scared of it going in (which is why we'd never ridden it before), but we all decided to try it once. My husband hates drops in general and totally hated it. He'll never go on it again. The kids (5 & 8) said they were scared of it, but I'm pretty sure I could talk them back onto it. It wasn't the drops that did them in...it was all the creepy Twilight Zone stuff leading up to it that they didn't like (as well as the creepy elevator loading area, which, IMO, is like a scene out of A Nightmare on Elm Street). I personally found the ride to be really fun and I laughed all the way through it. I'm a sad panda that no one will ride it with me, and I'm just not the single rider type. I'm hoping I can bribe one of the kids into riding with me in October, since we're not likely to return to Disney any time soon after that.

I love both rides. The high point of ToT for me is listening to all the first timers scream. When you don't know what is coming it is quite a shock. Once you have ridden it then it just becomes fun. MS is also a blast. The Orange side is much better. It feels like a jet plane take off. Tosses you back in the seat and kicks butt.

I got really sick after MS. I do get motion sickness in the car sometimes, but nothing crazy.

Mission Space is DD and DHs favorite ride. I have motion sickness so I have to sit it out. Last summer I had to sit it out for a loooong time because they rode over and over and over. Wait time was really short.

TOT was a big disappointment for us. I expected it to be more like HM but its really short. The drops at the end are fun but overall we didn't love it.

I've ridden MS a number of times, including the orange side when it first came out. It had me a little concerned because I had read how intense it was and your face does peel back with the g-force. The first time I rode I remember being enthralled when we were "tipped back" and looking up the gantry... way cool. The green side is pretty much like a simulater. ToT is a hoot and I try to do multiple times each trip... but as others have mentioned it is not the ride for those who do not like being dropped, even though it is smooth and bouncy.

I've ridden the Orange side of Mission Space and really enjoyed it. But I don't typically get motion sickness. Since it uses a centrifuge to help you feel "weightless" for a few seconds, I can see how some folks wouldn't be able to handle it. If you ever wanted to be an astronaut as a kid (and don't have motion sickness issues) then it's a "must do" IMO.
ToT - now THERE'S a ride to end all rides! It is SO much fun and unlike any other ride I've ever done. Every time you ride it the "elevator drop" part is different. Like a PP, DH and I will ride it several times in one trip. The theming is really something else as well. So don't fret if you don't have a FP for another ride, enjoy all the cool things the Imagineers put together.

I felt extremely sick after riding the orange side of Mission Space. I did the Green Side last week, and it was fine.

ToT is my favorite ride in all the parks. The theming in the queue is amazing. The CMs in the library are usually very good. The boiler room is cool and the ride itself with the randomness of the drops is never the same twice in a row. I have ridden MS orange before but can't any more due to the tight spaces. From what I remember it was a pretty neat ride though.

I always find these questions hard to answer as for some people the Merry Go Round is an intense ride. I would say ToT is near the top of the list of most intense rides at WDW. Mission Space there are two lines, the orange line, which is a close simulation to a space launch but with extreme G Force pressure. For me it felt like my face was being ripped off. Or the green line which I ride. It has the same experience as the orange line but with no g force.
