Questions about renting points

My Dh and I were thinking about renting points. We also want to buy the dining plan and tickets with the park hopper. My questions are

1. does the person I'm renting from get the dining plan and tickets or do I, and do I need some sort of confirmation number from the renter?

2. If I buy the dining plan and tickets will they be on my KTTW cards or do I have to do something to get them on?

You should get a confirmation from the member you rent from.

The member will need to add the dining plan for your entire trip (no segmenting dining plans anymore) and you will pay when they add it. You'll have to figure out with the member how to accomplish payment.

You need to purchase your own tickets. You are not getting a package. You probably can add them to your KTTW. The dining plan will be on the KTTW.

Yes, Deb is right, you CAN add the tickets to your KTTW card when you check in. The member you rent a reservation from will also have to be the one to set up ME is you will be using that.

As stated above, you need to order your own tickets. You can do that from Disney or from a reliable ticket broker before you arrive, then ask the have them added to your Key to the World card. You can even buy them at a resort or park, but it's quicker to take care of them beforehand.

I just did this for a renter that was going to AKV for 3 nights. She decided she wanted the Dining plan two days before her trip. She gave me her charge card information and I called member services with it. It was very easy. Member services even sent me an updated reservation showing the Dining plan on it which I forwarded to her.
