We were discusing our plans last night, and the kids asked a good question.. Can you use more than one Plus per day? We were wondering if you can, for instance, go to the water parks during the day, and DQ at night on the same ticket? I think you can, but thought I'd check to be sure. We plan on getting 7 day Plus tickets, wich nets you 5 plusses, but we will only be there 13 days, so we would need to double up somewhere to use them all since a day or two down time will definately be necesary.

My ds thinks they should have 'plus hoppers' so you can switch water parks, or do DQ in one day on one admission. :)

This Magical Disney Math kinda drives me nuts. The initial passes are expensive, but the extra days are so cheap, it's hard to resist getting the longer passes, even if you don't necesarily need them.

We will be arriving early on 9/10, and flying out very late on 9/23. Money is more of an issue now than it was when we planned this trip for two weeks. The condo, car and airfare is paid for, all we need is tickets.

What kind of tickets would you get?

At this point I figure that the extra days at Disney are going to be cheaper than doing anything else in the area, and more days means less time pressure in the parks = being able to eat off site more, or even back at the condo. What do you think?

BTW, we are staying at the Sheraton Vistana Villages, if that matters.

thanks for any advice.

Yes, you can use 2 plusses on the same day.

I would get 10 plus passes that expire after 14 days. I am a non hopper kind of person but most people say it is worth it to pay $35 for hopping. You will be there long enough to do every park at least twice so I would skip the hopping and save $35 multiplied by X (X = number of people in your party) plus tax.

I just basically this same type of question on another board.

I wanted to know if the 5 pluses could be used on top of the 7 days for example for a total of 12 days. I was told that you as long as you used them within the 14 day expiration you were good to go. Of course if you have the no-expiration feature you could save our pluses for future trips if they did not get used. I was also told you wait and add the no expiration on near end of trip if you still had unused days you do not have to do it now that way you don't pay for the feature if its not worth it. Some people have said that sometimes it is cheaper to let one day go unused instead of paying for the no-expiration

Yes you can do 7 days in the parks and 5 additional days at DQ, TL, BB... so you can stretch it to 12 days (or 14 or 15 if you get the 10 day+ passes)

The basic concept is split WDW into two groups. The four major parks (AK, EC, MGM, MK) and the five minor parks (BB, DQ, PI, TL, WWS).

The basic pass is for one major park per day. The hopper (which is $35.00 plus tax no matter how many days or if it is a child or adult ticket) allows more than one major park per day; whether you go to one or all four you will be charged for one day's use.

The Magic Plus gives you between two and five plus options, depending on the length of the basic ticket. The cost is $45.00 plus tax no matter how many days or if it is a child or adult ticket. Entry into any minor park, whether on the same or different days, uses up one Plus option. For example, going to TL in the morning, BB in the afternoon and PI at night will use up three options. Going to TL, then leaving, and then returning to TL on the same day uses up only one option.

If you go to one or more major parks on the same day as you go to one or more minor parks, you will use up a major park day and ans many options as you enter minor parks.

A day that you go to a minor park (or parks) only will not use a major park day.

Last thing is if you do not have a hopper you are restricted to only one major park per day; you cannot use two days of major park entry on one day. It is possible to get a ticket with the Plus Options that is not a hopper.
