Is it true you have to check at Guest Relations to see how many days are left on an old ticket? Also, I know there is an old "Plus" on them all. So, if we were to use them to go to a water park, do I pay the difference between the old price and the new price or can I use them as is? They were non-expiring tickets from 2004. TIA :)

If you have plus options on a non-expiring ticket you should be able tu just use the plus option to get into the water parks. Guest relations at the parks or any of the hotels should be able to scan your old tickets & tell you what is left on them. If you want to put the value of old tickets toward the purchase of new tickets I beleive you have to have that done by guest relations at the park entrances. But if it is a non-expiring ticket you shouldn't need to pay any price difference just to get into a park with the old tickets.

Yes, the only place you can check to see how many days or plusses are left is at a Ticket Sales or Guest Relations window in the parks, or at the front desk of the Disney resorts (the resorts didn't do this for you up until last year).

A Plus option on an old ticket is an admission that doesn't expire. You can use those old Plusses to get into a WDW water park or Pleasure Island without paying any extra, no matter how many tiems the prices have gone up since you bought the ticket. FYI, however, the old Plus options from before the MYW system were not valid at DisneyQuest.

Your old tickets will work in teh turnstiles just fine, but you will be required to use the biometric scanners, just like the new tickets. The biometric finger data will be stored in teh WDW computer system and prevent anyone else from using the ticket after that, so take a sharpie with you and write down on the tickets how many Days and Plusses they each have left, and who they belong to so they don't get mixed up.

After each trip we (have learned to) write on each ticket how many days are left, and the date. Before that, I ened up bringin a whole handful of tickets to WDW to have each one checked. Some had no days, one had five, etc.

Tehre is also a guest relations desk at DTD that can check them too. It is kind of hidden away, so there is rarely a line.
