Questions about old tickets-help!

Leaving for WDW next week!!! We have 4 old tickets with one day left (parkhopper, no expiration from 2001) We had 3 adult tickets (me, DH, GM) and 1 child ticket (DD, now 10) At that time DS now 6 was a baby. Our plan was for DS to use the child ticket and DD to use one of the adult tickets. (GM is not going!) Is that going to be a problem? Will the CM recognize the fact that DD couldn't have been an adult when that ticket was issued so of course it was not her ticket to begin with? Also will that ticket still be a parkhopper? I just bought MYW tickets online for the balance of the trip, but we wanted to use that one day at the beginning of the trip just to get rid of it. When you have old tickets, do you have to go to a different place to get into the park (guest services?) or can you just go to a regular turnstyle and just give them the old ticket? :confused3 :confused3
Thank you so much for any and all responses!

DD should use back her old child ticket. She's just one year over so Disney won't bother to make her exchange it at no cost for an adult ticket. The ticket will have all the remaining privileges it had when last used including hopping.

Yes, DD's using a partly used adult ticket might lead to questions although this is not likely.

Get a new child ticket for DS.

Old tickets recent enough (post 1997?) to fit the turnstiles are used as-is. Those that don't are exchanged at a Guest Relations booth or window or office, there is one outside and one just inside each park.

(Actually old tickets should not be used at all during a vacation that is for more than 3 theme park days and when new tickets are also needed. Othewise the per-day value realized for getting rid of old tickets is very small, as little as two dollars.)

I had a 5 day park hopper that my now X husband used in 2003. He only went 3 days so we had 2 days left over. I gave that pass to my aunt a year later and she had no problem using it. As for using old passes no problems, I bought hopper passes and used them 2 years later and we had no problems using them.

Thanks for your info and that great link (Wow, lots to think about!) You said you thought it wasn't a good idea to use our old tickets....here is our thinking -
We have just ordered MYW 7day non expiring tickets online at Undercover Tourist.
Our old tickets have one day left with hopper...we thought we would use that one day up and do our hopping that day, then use 4 days of our new ticket and have 3 days left over for another mini trip in the somewhat near/distant future! Does that make sense? I hope so!!! :scratchin :scratchin If you think it's unlikely anyone would question my DD10 using the old adult ticket, I think we might try it. (Otherwise our whole plan is messed up!)
Thanks again for your thoughts!!
