Questions about my trip in March/itinerary...

I'm trying to plan for my trip this March, we're leaving on 3/5. I have a few questions that maybe some of you can help me with...

1- Is it possible that it will be warm enough to go to Blizzard Beach one day (we'll be there 3/5-3/12)? Should I keep come summer clothes out to pack? I was thinking it would be more like jeans or capris and tshirt weather, light jacket at night...

2- About the EMH: Will this be like the E-ride nights in the past, will we have to get some kind of wrist band or just show our resort key?

3- This is what I have planned so far, any suggestions?

3/5- Arrive at All Star Movies around noon... lunch, check in... maybe Downtown Disney

3/6- Chef Mickey's PS, 8:30am...MK in the am, then to MGM and stay for EMH

3/7- Universal/IOA, Citywalk in the evening (Has anyone ever been to Citywalk, is it worth it or should we go to PI?)

3/8- Animal Kingdom, EMH until 8pm and then PI

3/9- EPCOT in the am and then MK for EMH, until 10pm

3/10- Kona Cafe PS, 9am...MGM and then EPCOT late afternoon, stay for EMH... head to Boardwalk and Jellyrolls

3/11- Crystal Palace PS, 9:10am...no plans, we'll see what we feel like doing during the day, and then PI at night

3/12- check out, DTD for lunch/shopping, flight leaves at 5:40pm

I can't wait to go, and I still have to wait 2 more months! aagh! I'm driving my husband crazy with all the planning... thanks for the suggestions!

Regarding the weather, you'll have to wait until we get closer to know for sure, but the average high temps in March in Orlando are around 78 degrees.

Regarding evening EMH, it will be somewhat like the old e-ride nights, but you won't have to pay extra. You will show them your resort IDs and you will get wristbands.

Your itinerary looks exciting, but it would be too aggressive for my family - I have 2 young children, so we could never go commando like this.

One thought about Chef Mickey's is that this is something we love to do on the evening of our arrival - it really gets everyone in the mood to see all of the characters. If you did this, you could ditch the breakfast the next morning and hit the parks first thing -- just a thought.

Another thought - you say you have PS ressies at Crystal Palace, but you also say you have "no plans" - just want to make sure that you do realize you need to burn a park day to go to CP.

All-in-all, sounds like you've given a lot of thought to this and it sounds like it will be awesome!!!

Thanks for the info. We don't have any children yet, we've been married a little over a year. I can definitely see how it would be impossible to do this with young ones. We went in June with our extended families, which included young nieces and nephews. This time it will just be us and some friends.

Having the Chef Mickey's dinner the first night is a great idea, I will bring that up to the group. We normally do the breakfasts so we fill up, and then have a snack or 2 before dinner to save $$ on another meal. But I guess it all evens out!

We'll definitely be in the parks our last day, so it's ok that we have the PS in the MK. I figured we would do whatever we missed within the parks that day.

Thanks again:-)
