Questions about MVMCP

I imagine that what I am looking for is on here somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. I know I am going to sound silly (with excitement), but I was wondering what is all part of MVMCP. We already have our tickets, and I am super excited about going. My birthday is Christmas Eve, and our trip is part of my birthday present this year. I see people give pretty detailed descriptions on here of what to expect at all sorts of things, so I thought I would find out if anyone was interested in sharing. The description on the WDW website is pretty vague. Thanks

We went last year and had a great time. They start letting you in with your MVMCP tickets at around 4pm. They will give you a wrist band to wear. It was great to arrive at that time because we got to do some rides before the party. Then we had dinner at Tony's and came out just in time to get a great spot for the parade. The parade was fantastic and Wishes was just unbelievable! We got our free cookies and hot chocolate, and we tried to see the Twas the night before Xmas show, but we thought it was bad so we left half way through! We got to go on a lot of rides with no wait. It was busy but the crowds seemed to not be on line for rides!LOL You will have a great time. I think it is a must do at leaste once!
