It will be our first time staying onsite.
1) For the Little Mermaid: Is it really an advantage to use the early line entrance for DLR onsite guests? and should we (can we) use the GCH entrance instead of main entrance to get to the LM ride? which is better?
2) Thinking that we should save our perk FP's from hotel to use with Star Tours. Would anyone agree with this?

Thanks...taking all opinions! :)

1. Yes MM in DL for hotel guests is an advantage you should take advantage of. Yes you can use the resort guest entry into DCA if you stay in any of the three hotels. Going in at 9am will give you a big advantage.

2. Maybe. If you are in DL for MM or a regular entrance day and go to ST right when the normal opening is or close to it you can get regular FPs for ST, and save the special ones for LM. Assuming you are there for more than one day, might see if you get on LM using the resort guest early entry and want to do it again using the special FPs, before you use both on ST.

No question about it, use the GCH entrance.
WOC fastpasses are handed out at 9:00, and the park entrance will open around 9:30. On June 4th, the first day Little Mermaid was open early, we were able to ride 4 times between 9:30 and 10:00 :thumbsup2

I agree. Even the fastpass line gets long later in the day, so use the hotel passes early.

Cool, thanks!
We have done WoC twice and probably won't this trip. We are not into "running" to get FP, with our 3 kids (or having one runner), so we will use the FP for ST but choose this earlier than later in the day...makes sense!
And we will try the GCH entrance...just not sure about how to get there from DLH...guess we will figure it out:rotfl:
So used to being on the "East" side of DLR, staying on Harbor so not used to what is on the "other" end of DTD:rotfl2:

We were there last week (6/4 - 6/8). My answers are:

1. Yes, if you take advantage of the early entry the line for LM will not be that long. I would not waste my resort FPs on LM. We found that if you timed it right you could get a shorter line for LM. It is a fast loading line and the lines are quick moving. On Saturday night, (crowds weren't bad that day), we went as everyone else was waiting for World of Color. It was a 15 minute wait. We did it on Tuesday when the park was a lot more crowded and we wound up waiting longer, but still not horrible (We did it around 8:00 that night and we should have waited a little bit longer because by the time we were done the line was already much shorter). During the afternoon we saw the line at 70 minutes a few times Mon. and Tues.

2. Absolutely yes. Most of the other rides you can pick up a fast pass for without too much effort. Star Tours was a stampede when we were there. One day people were complaining that all the fast passes were gone by 9:20 a.m. As DD (5) wouldn't ride Star Tours, DH used her passes for Star Tours. I rode it twice and he rode it 4 times. It was completly different the 2 times I rode it. DH got scenes he had never seen before 3 times, and the last time, he got all scenes he had seen the other 3 times. I wouldn't say you have to do the fast pass line early, just keep an eye on it, and if it is too long when you try, come back later. It seems to jump up and down. We rode it in the evening and it was not bad- others have said when they hit it in the evening it was long. We also rode it in the late morning hours with no long FP line. You just never know.

Have fun!
