Do you think they are planning to coincide the release of the sixth movie with the opening of HP World?

I have also noticed that for next year that the whole month of July 2010 has been blocked from using annual power passes. This makes me think that This would be the time of the opening. What do you think?

What is the new ride that they are suppost to add. The release mentioned it but gave no details.

Do you think Preferred and Premier Annual PassHolders will get any preview nights like we did when the Mummy first came out?

I think July is a good bet for the HP opening but no one really knows what the latest is. Universal hasn't released any information about the new attractions so it's still a mystery. I would certainly think there will be passholder previews but again...no details have been released.

I noticed the blockout dates with the powerpass too - to me that is a big indicator when you compare it to 2009 blockout dates.

Universal will definitely want it open for summer but as Metro West said Universal aren't giving anything away!

No, they are not. The 6th film (Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) is going to be released this July, on the 15th. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter isn't set to open until early to mid 2010. If it coincides with the first half of the 7th story (HP and the Deathly Hallows, which will be split into 2 films), that could work out. Judging by the construction photos though, I definitely wouldn't expect it to be open in a month!
