Our DD and SIL are planning a trip there and had some questions about some of the prices of some of the activities there for adults and children. There oldest son is 5. I know this is kind of wide open for everything but I think they just want to get some idea of what they can expect. Any information would be greatly appreciated. She's been out on the net looking but can't come up with a whole lot of info. Maybe she's looking in all the wrong places.

Thanks for your help,
Michele

We were there the first week of June and enjoyed it. Being there only four days, we spent a large majority of our time at the beach or the pool, but we did a few extra activities. Many of the kid's activities are either free or have a nominal fee. There is a campfire a couple of times a week at night that includes singing, dancing, storytelling, and sumores--free. There is a magic night with B'Lou (sp?) Crab that is also free. There are several other arts and crafts available, too. I went kayaking around the marsh on a 2-hour trip and it cost $30. Family plans are available, though a 5 yr old would likely get bored with it. As luck would have it, I seem to have misplaced my trip folder from that visit. My best suggestion would be to get the phone number of the HHI resort itself, then ask for the activities list and pricing. Good luck! :earsboy:

We just returned last week. Many of the activities offered are based on the ages of the children. For a 5 year old there are several arts/craft activities- cost is $10-12 for members and $12-15 for guests (painting rowboats, making birdfeeders), Toddler Tales - free, Gyotaku- $10M, $12-G, Kid's Night Out (ages 5-12)- $20M-$25G, Shadows Tales- free, Magic- free. Most of the activities for children younger than 5 are free. There are couple of Kid's Night Out programs- with a movie, pizza or with a Disney Detectives theme.

There are also many free family programs- scavenger hunt, treasure hunt, etc for all ages.

Enjoy!

Thank you so much for all your help. The kids will be very happy to here all of this. It really sounds like alot of fun. My DH and I have not been there yet but we are thinking strongly about going there on one of our road trips down to Disney and staying a few days. Again, thank you so much for all your help. I can always count on the people on these boards to give us help and some answers.

Michele
