Hi wfbnancy,
SearchCactus and Netflip both only show what your grand total is, so you'll have to check your balance first before you start for the day. SearchCactus displays the total on the Shopping page; Netflip on the top of each search page.
I know there's a "howto" on these programs but can't find the link.
To do SearchCactus:
You can do 25 "eyes" a day, each worth a penny. Enter a search word in the search box and then click on any link that has an eye in front of it. Usually the link credits after 20 seconds. You can only do one link at a time. Keep the "Shopping" page open in a different window and hit the Refresh button to see if your clicked-on link has credited yet. You should also open each link with an eye in a separate window (by using Shift-click). Although certain websites may repeatedly appear on different search results pages, they usually only credit once so don't bother reloading that website link. You can cash out when you reach the $20 mark - cash out by the 25th of each month and you'll receive your check a month later.
To do Netflip:
You're allowed 10 searches a day. Each search link result varies in a payout from .01 to .05 cents. Try to go for the higher amounts. Use similar search words to SearchCactus and click on the link with an amount next to it. I believe you'll need to let the page load for at least 30 seconds, but it doesn't always work. Sometimes you'll need to reload the page again to get credit. This is an erratic program in my opinion and somewhat frustrating. My best advice is to do this program early in the day before all the higher-paying links are all used up. Netflip mails you a check automatically when you reach the $20 mark.
I hope this helps!
Sheila
