We usually go to Gatlinburg at least once a year. Have to add a plug here for the Pancake Pantry... we eat breakfast there whenever we're in Gatlinburg. They have the most wonderful pancakes!

Is Dollywood a one day thing or would it take 2 days to see it all?

We can do Dollywood in 3/4 of a day.

We stayed at the holiday inn, near the hotel that is round up on a hill.....there was a restuarant across the street and down the street from the holiday inn that served home cooking. It was really good. It had an old fashion looking porch on the front ....Does anyone know the name. The breakfast menu was so good.

We love Dixie Stampede!! Your kids are a good age for it.

The Peddler is delicious but pretty expensive..there are better choices for kids IMHO.

For breakfast we always go once to The Log Cabin Pancake House off stoplight 6...(I think it is 6)...try the praline banana frencht toast with cream cheese...oh my!

Love the Apple Barn and Farmhouse restaurant too.

I have been looking at booking a trip this summer...been 5 years since we have been there.
