Hello, kind people. :wave2:

I am in the early planning stages of an Orlando trip for the second week of November, 2005.

I'd love for us to spend three nights in the Royal Pacific then, specifically 11/10-11/12. Rack rates are a bit steep though.

Does the Entertainment card give you the best discount on RPH? I'm reading up on this forum when I have time and keep coming across posts about the Lowes First club and also Universal's FAN club. Do those give a similar or better discount? Are any of these discounts more available than the others?

Also (important) when do Entertainment rates typically become available? Since my dates fall after the expiration date of the currect book, must I wait until the 2006 book comes out to try?

Usually, the annual pass rate is the best discount. The entertainment rate usually comes next. YOu never know what will be available at any time. You do not need to have the Entertainment Book to make your reservation. You just need to bring the card inside the book when you register at the hotel.
If you do manage to get the Entertainment rate you are right about needing the 2006 book.
