Questions about ECV in DL

Hi there! My SIL is going to DL in a couple of weeks and our FIL just decided to tag along! He will need to use an ECV and I could not find much info about the ones at DL. So I have a few questions:
Can you reserve them or is it on a first come first served basis?
Do they run out of them or is there a good supply?
Can you take them from DL to DCA and vice versa?

You cannot reserve them. They are on a first come first served basis. In the busy season they do run out quickly. If you are at the gates early, you will have no trouble getting one.

The cost is $55 a day, but you get $20 back each day when you return it, so really only $35 a day.

You can take them between the two parks, but that is it! You cannot take it to DTD or to your hotel.

There are local companies you can rent from that will deliver and pick up the ECV to and from your hotel and with those, you can take them everywhere! That's what we did on our last trip!

Well, the one we got was done through guest services at the Paradise Pier Hotel. I beleive it was called Orange County Medical, but I am not 100% positive. Others on here have mentioned a company called Deckert's.

I have an AP and have gone several times this year...my dates have ranged between 1 and 6 days at a time...I ALWAY use Deckert..they are amazingly great in the customer service dept...you tell them what day and time you want the ecv to be delivered and it will be there guaranteed...1-3 days its $40 a day...4 and 5 days its $150 total...anything more than that you will have to ask...you will have to pay a $50 refundable deposit along with the full amount but they will give you the deposit back within 2 to 3 days after they get their ecv back....their number is 714 542 5607
