Questions about DVC Resorts

Hello All!!

In the process of planning a trip and staying at DVC Resort. I am a Member, and very excited!

I have a few questions though...

I really look forward to the 'magic'ness of staying at Disney Resorts...to those who have stayed at DVC resorts before...what are your opinions of them?

Will I still feel the magic of staying at a Disney Resort?

Do I get the cool Mickey Shampoo and soap like at the other hotels?

Basically...how do you all like them? We are thinking of OKW to stay at...

Yep, magic is there along with the Mickey accoutraments! All DVC resorts ARE Disney resorts!

I know that they are disney resorts...but the way our guide made it sound is that it is Disney...just a relaxed version of it. I love the feeling of staying at a Disney resort and don't want a 'dumbed down' version of it like he made it sound. I'm so glad to hear that I won't be missing out on anything!!!

Yes, all the magic is there.

You will get the same soaps & shampoos, the same TV channels, same phone services and the same "whats going on in the world" leaflets etc as the other Disney resorts.

Plus you will get a "welcome home" or two!

Well, since you don't get mousekeeping every day, unless you pay extra for it, you won't be getting as many soaps and shampoos. I don't think we get the hand lotion that we used to get in other Disney resorts, or maybe they just don't give them any more to anyone.
