Questions about driving - CBR

When I look at CBR on Google maps, I see 3 ways in and out of CBR: the main gate off Buena Vista Dr., an entrance near Jamaica village off Victory Way, and an entrance off Century Way kind of between Trinidad South and Pop Century. Are the entrances near Jamaica and Trinidad South available for CBR guests to use or not? I think I see gates there, perhaps only the Disney buses and other "authorized vehicles" have access to these? We'll be driving down and are debating between using Disney transportation and using our own vehicle for getting around once we're there.

If I remember correctly we only used the main gates, but the busses used the others. Sometimes the bus would turn after picking up Aruba if full. We have our car but used the bus for most things, except eating at othervresorts, and I would consider it for HS if I stayed at CBR again

You mean you would consider driving your own car to HS? Thanks! That's the one place that seems especially convenient for driving ourselves.

As a guest you should use the entrance off Buena Vista Drive. The others you see on Google maps are service entrances.

You mean you would consider driving your own car to HS? Thanks! That's the one place that seems especially convenient for driving ourselves.

Back when we stayed at CBR we would drive it to DTD as well as the resorts, but that was before the Disney springs project, as proximity was close and bussing there was always the worst.
The resorts we have stayed at since, it has been fine taking the bus to HS. However one time we waited so long in the peak of an extremely hot day for a return bus and the little thing you wait under was little, in fact it seemed smaller than the overhangs at the other parks. My husband looked at the parking lot, which didn't look bad at all, and said, next time we can easily do that. You obviously can't beat the bus at MK and Epcot, and it's very close at HS but after that experience and him seeing how it could've been easier, as traffic didn't look bad there, so I would probably base that decision on weather.
