Questions about Disney Quest

Has anyone been here? How did you like it? I just read the overview and it sounds pretty cool. I was thinking that if we got a cold, rainy day this would be something to do. I assume you can play all the games you want for the price of entry? (No tokens or quarters needed?) Thanks!

We have older kids in our family and we like it a lot. That being said, we go early in the morning at open and it's still quite crowded. I would definitely avoid going on a rainy day...we do, and like I said, it's still somewhat busy. All the games are included in price of admission except those you can win prizes from (these are your typical games that you would find at like a Chuck E. Cheese, I guess....but I've never been to a Chuck E. Cheese, so I'm just guessing there). Typical video games like Pac-Man and Skee-Ball are free.

Just don't get the impression that you will be the only one to have thought of that. ;) It tends to fill up quickly on days when the weather is not very accommodating.

There are dozens of arcade games--both classic and current. No charges for the individual games. There are also a number of interactive experiences. Most are virtual reality type things. For example, they have an attraction that lets you build your own rollercoaster on a computer screen. Then you climb into a capsule on a gimble which lets you experience the rollercoaster you created--including any inversions that were part of the design.

I don't know that I'd pay extra for DisneyQuest, but if your tickets include admission options, it's a nice diversion from the theme parks in the middle of a warm (or cold) day.

We love the place but it does get very crowded at night and on rainy days and weekends. The way it works is you go to a game you want to play and wait your turn, when you are done, you move on. If you like video games it is very much worth it. They even have a thing were you create your own roller coaster and then ride it. This lines gets very long during peak hours. There are also other simulation rides there. They even have some of the old atari games. Great now that the admission is a "plus" on the new tickets.

Maybe I'm in the minority on these boards, but our family didn't enjoy this too much. We just got back from WDW and decided to do this on our "off" day. It cost us $200 for our family of 6 (and that was with some discounts!). It was very crowded and very loud. I found that this was the one and only place during our stay that people were so rude and there were so many games and interactive activities that we would have to wait 30-60 minutes just to play. Ug. We ended up leaving and spent the day shopping and dining in dtd which was great.
