Questions about dining reservations and DAS

We have not been back since August 2019, going in early May, so all the changes are new to me. We are taking a friend with a 1 1/2 year old. Do we need to include him in the number of guests for dining reservations? We've never traveled with a child this young before! <3

I have our hotel, hoppers and park reservations. I see people saying to try to make dining reservations on the app, but I'm not finding that option on my app. I can find it online, but not the app. Does dining have a separate app, or what am I missing?

Also, my now 19 year old daughter has always had a DAS in previous years for her spina bifida. I see now that it is set up ahead of time with a phone call. What type of information should we have for that phone call? Are they able to see that she has previously had a DAS?

At the bottom of the screen in the app there is a "+". That will open up a menu to check for dining availability.
The only thing you need for DAS video chat is to explain why the person can't wait in the usual line, not a specific diagnosis. They don't care about previous DAS. They won't give for mobility reasons. The person that needs the DAS must be present at least at the end of the call, to take photo. You can still set up in park; the only advantage is that with video call, you can preselect two DAS return times before you arrive.
