Questions about dining plan

Okay I don't know if my brain is suffering information overload, but we have never done the dining plan so I'm confused a bit, we are going for 4 nights, we plan on purchasing the regular dining plan, that will be for 4 days? meaning 4 ts, 4 qs, and 4 snacks?

Silly but I just am not sure if because technically we will be there 5 days.

Credits are based on the number of nights you stay, so you are correct that you will have 4 TS, 4CS, and 4 snacks per person on the reservation ages 3 and up (plus one mug credit each).
