Questions about CSR bus service

Hoping someone can help. I will be taking my disabled aunt and uncle to WDW in September. I'm concerned as I have never stayed at a resort with more than one bus stop. They will both be on ECVs. My uncle is a quadrapalegic and my aunt has neuropathy in her feet. Will they just call a special bus, or ask people to move...I'm not sure how to go about getting from place to place. We will have our own car, but there is no way I can transport 2 ECVs. I like to know what to expect in advance. How do they load them when other people are on the bus already. Usually they put them on first, and then we get in line and meet them wherever we are going. I would hate for someone to be asked to move. Especially considereing ECV's take up 5 or 6 seats. I know how some people feel about ECVs...but if I don't take them, they'd never get to go, and they love it as much as we do.

Yes, they will ask guests to move if they are sitting in the seats that raise up to make room for the ECV. The tie downs are located there. The newer low floor buses are easier but there is not guarantee that you get those on each trip. One advantage is that the buses at CSR are usually less crowded but obviously not at park closing time.

Darn, this is what I was afraid of. Your site is excellent, Buzz2001, and I am so looking forward to visiting CSR. Could you please answer another question about it for me? I was wondering what the "Captain's plan" was. On your site it says something about a family of 5 being able to use the self driven boats for 10 consecutive days. Surely that's not unlimited use. Is it an hour per person per day?

Yes, it was unlimited. Not sure if these plans are still offered though. I just was searching the DIS and learned that they may have discontinued these plans. Apparently, the Magic Your Way Premium (or platinum or something like that) package has this built in, so they discontinued the walk-up plans. Call 1-877-939-3732, and wait for the prompt for Disney Recreation. They may have a definite answer.
