Questions about CRT (and something else)

I booked dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table in January. My mom is going with me to cheer me on while I run the 5K during marathon weekend.
Her birthday is that month, so I thought I would suprise her with a cool dinner.
What should I expect, since we will be 2 adult women? Are the pictures included - esp since I had to pay in advance (not on dining plan). Hopefully the characters will not skip over us....

Oh, and on a funny side note. A friend is sending her parents to Disney for their anniversary. I noticed their dates fell during free dining - so I told her to call and add it, and she did! Woohoo!! Problem is now, I am trying to get her to make some reservations and her mom keeps saying " I don't know where I want to eat in December." How to explain that she really needs to figure it out!?

What should I expect, since we will be 2 adult women? Are the pictures included Yes. You and your Mom will get your picture taken with Cinderella in the lobby.

Hopefully the characters will not skip over us.... We were a group of 3 adults and all of the princesses visited our table.

Now what I would tell your friend's mom is this: If you want to eat at a TS meal you HAVE to book them now. Doesn't matter if you don't know what you want. You know what you like, right? So book restaurants based on your tastes. If not, you will be eating CS every day, every meal for your entire trip...period.

2 years ago when free dining was getting introduced to us vacationers outside the "aug/sept" crowd, it was difficult to walk up. Every day there were big board signs at the gates of every park saying "All TS restaurants are booked. Please enjoy a meal at one of our CS loctations".
These signs were up between 9am-10am every day. And that was back then!! I can't imagine how more crammed they are this year. Everyone is on the free dining band wagon.
So just take your time explaining there are only so many seats available in a restaurant...and thousands upon thousands of diners per day.

So excited about this trip. Doubt we will see Wishes from the windows as I have an earlier seating - but boy that would be cool!
I have encouraged my friend to speak to her parents. Even looked at some openings for them and made suggestions.
