We are postponing our fall trip because of gas prices but are thinking about spring. Has anyone stayed in a studio unit at BC or BW? We would love to get some opinions (pros and cons) on each resort. Thanks!

I've stayed in a studion at BCV. We loved it!! The room was plenty big enough for my dh and I, we were there for our 10th anniversary--no kids!!!
It was also plenty big enough for my sister and her family this past July!
Pros:
Being so close to Epcot and MGM makes either resort a wonderful place to stay.
Stormalong Bay
Beaches and Cream

Cons:
I can't think of a single con about BCV.

We stayed in a studio at the BWV and really liked it (and my opinion is only tempered somewhat by the fact that on the previous trip we stayed in a one bedroom). It was just the two of us, so plenty roomy (because of the setup with the one bed and the sleep sofa, the room seems bigger than a normal hotel room with two beds). We really liked having a microwave. The location for both the BWV and BCV are great - walking/boat to both Epcot and MGM are wonderful. We haven't stayed at the BCV, but I'm sure they are great also (and newer!)

We've stayed in studios at both BCV's and BWV's. Love them both but have to say that my favorite is BCV's. I can't wait to go back. The SAB pool is great as well as is the quiet pool. Love the bright & airy feel of the resort. The short walk to Epcot is awesome. Also love the short boat ride to MGM. You can always stroll over to the BW if you want. Beaches & Cream was yummy and quite a hit with my DS. I'd stay at BW in a heartbeat but if I had my choice I'd choose BC.

You really can't go wrong with either. I absolutely love BW but if you have children you may want BC for their pool. Anything else at either hotel (beaches and cream, ESPN club, etc) you can do no matter where you stay. Have fun planning! :earboy2:

Thanks everyone. They both sound nice. Are the rooms the same size?

The rooms are the same size. The major differences inside the studios between BCV and BWV are that at BWV, there's no coffee table (some people find it easier to open the sofa bed, but some people find not having a coffee table somewhat inconvenient). Also, if you have a lock-off studio, the door is in 2 different places, depending on the resort. t BCV the connecting door is near the front door. At BWV, the connecting door is at the other end of the room, near the balcony. I'm one who prefers the BCV set up because it seems to make things quieter (sound always seems to seep through that door).
