Questions about buying annual passes with resale purchase

I know that we do not get the discounted price for the annual passes if we buy a resale contract. But will i be able to buy the gold pass since its a different pass than the platinum and I will technically be a DVC member or will I still only be limited to the platinum passes at full price. I've tried to do research, but can't find any answers on this.

You must have either direct points or resale prior to 4/4/2016 in order to purchase the Gold Pass or either of the Platinum Passes at DVC Member pricing.

If you are a FL Resident, you could purchase the Gold, Platinum or Platinum Plus Passes at the FL Resident Rate which is currently the same as DVC Member pricing.

New minimum is 75 points direct for AP discount and other perks.
