Questions about booking at Bonnet Creek?

I have always been interested in this place, but am a little confused about how you book to stay there.

I see mentions of ebay and a place called RCI on some of the threads. Are these the only way (outside of buying into a time share) that you can stay? How do they work? Has anyone had bad experiences booking through these sources? Are there are other websites you can recommend?

I have used vrbo to say in condos and stuff...are these websites similar to that?

We are looking to do Disney a little differently this time, and did the Pop Century thing last time and have tried the condo communities, so thought this might be something a little more interesting for my husband (who is thinking we might need a break from central FL this year).

I actually booked my stay at Bonnet Creek through and owner, I highly recommend. His website is vacationupgrades.com and his name is Ken Price. He was wonderful, and you can't beat the price, especially booking within the 60 day window. Myself, and many other dis people have used Ken, and I don't think you can go wrong with using him. Bonnet Creek is wonderful, and we loved every minute of it! I wish we were staying there again this year, but Ken couldn't get a good price for me on March Break, and I ended up getting Cypress Pointe Grand VIllas, for $65/night for a 2 bdrm, which is very cheap. I know I will be comparing it to Bonnet Creek, but I also know there won't be much of a comparison! Good luck!

You have several options. The most traditonal would be to go to
wyndhambonnetcreek.com and book through the company itself-just like you would book a traditional hotel room. You could also go to many travel sites (expedia, etc) and book that way. This way will likely be your most expensive, but safest manner.

My experience is with Ebay as I described in previous thread, this will likely be one of you cheaper options. Just need to make sure you use a reputable seller and are confident in your travel dates as cancelation poilcies are usually strict.

Considering you have been comfortable enough to use VRBO previosuly then EBAY could be a good choice. And technically I believe VRBO does have some Bonnet Creek rooms.

Becareful with other sites as they may just be a way to lure you into a timeshare presentation.

I am another vote for Ken Price. Satyed last December and going back in November. I am so happy that I have found someone I can trust as I was very nervous booking with an owner as I had never done that before.

I also booked with Ken Price, vacationupgrades.com. He was great to work with. We were there Aug. 17 through 26. When I made requests, I got what I wanted. Check in was easy and fast and not complicated. You are not required to attend a tour. We told them we were NOT interested and they never bothered us.

I will use Ken again for our next summer vacation.
