Our youngest 3 daughters will be turning 6 the first week of February but we will be going on vacation to WDW during the last week of Feb. To save having a party with lots of kids and spending money on cakes (3), party favors ,decorations we were thinking of doing their party at one of the restaurants, probably something that served "family style".I know it sounds bad, but they really have no clue the exact day of their birthday and we just thought that with all the work involved planning a stay at wdw 2 weeks before you leave this might be a good idea ,plus their aunt Ruthie is going to meet us there and she was planning on bringing their presents to Florida with her anyway.Has anyone ever done a belated bday or party there before or even just a kids birthday.Whats involved with ordering cakes ect? What about ordering gifts from Disney and having them delivered,or buying in the parks ,can you have these gift wrapped ? We were thinking of doing Whispering Canyons unless someone has any other suggestions. Id asked this question in the restaurant board as well just in case you read it twice and think you've lost your mind, sorry about that.

We did this with my youngest on our last trip. He turned 3 a week before we left, but we didnt tell him. He "officially" turned 3 in the world.

We went to chef Mickeys and had a cake delivered to us. As for presents I bought some the day before and just made sure to have them in the bottom of the carriage. There is no gift wrapping places in the world, so your options are to bring gift bags or skip the wrapping. We just gave him the things in the bag we purchased them in.

Heres the cake we got, it was a 6inch fresh cake. I think it was around $30.

I don't think a party has to be on the actual day, or even the actual month. They really don't know when their birthday is? My 5 year old twins have known for a couple of years, and all my kids know when everyone's birthday is. :confused3 A year ago, they might not have known their last names :lmao: but they definately knew that January 10th was their birthday!

LOL they kno when their birthday is but small kids really dont have a concept of time so they'll tell that "My birthday is feb 3rd" however they have no clue how to actually tell today from the 3rd of feb othar than to ask an adult.(gee youd think theyd ask someone more reliable than me ? ).We will still do a small grandparents party most likely on the weekend closest to their actual birthday just so they'll be totally confused.
I wonder if I can manage to postpone X mas too? hmmmm......
