Questions about Beach Club

We're staying at Beach Club for the first time next May. I have a couple of questions:

Is there a coffee shop nearby that sells really good coffee? (I'm thinking of Beaches and Cream..... would they carry that?) There was a post on getting good coffee at AKL awhile back, and I'm wondering the same thing about Beach Club; we love good coffee in the morning!

Are the characters at Cape May there for dinner, or just breakfast? (I'm thinking about making a ps for dinner there on the night we arrive.)

Okay, you prefaced your coffee question with "really good". Frankly, there is no place in BC for "really good" coffee, unless you make it yourself in the room. Beaches and Cream is no longer open for breakfast. What they have done is moved the breakfast type fare in to the lobbies of YC and BC. One suggestion I might offer is taking a stroll over to the Dolphin lobby. I seem to remember they have a nice setup (coffee and such) just at the top of the escalators. Never have tried it, but it looked like it might be good. I can not speak for options on the Boardwalk. BTW, we'll be at BCV 5/1 - 5/6. Good luck.

All the Disney restaurants sell Nescafe coffee. The Dolphin, which is right next door to the BC/YC, sells Starbucks coffee. Tubbi's, open 24 hours, has a refillable mug that's around $10 or so and you can get free refills of coffee and soda for your entire trip. I don't know why you would have to be staying there to buy it.

I'm not sure if Cape May has character dinners, but I've heard rave reviews about their seafood.

Let me make sure I understand what you are saying.... Tubbis, at the Dolphin has mugs in which you can refill the starbucks coffee? Not the nescafe? That would be wonderful!!!!!

The Cape May character meal is ONLY the breakfast. We did it on our Aug trip and had some of the best character interaction. There was Goofy (the dog, the legend, the main event!), Minnie Mouse, Chip and Dale.

The Cape May "Clam Bake" does not have characters.

Good coffee=walk to the Dolphin or making it yourself in your room....

Coffee is an issue at WDW ...... I've been bringing my own for years...
