I'm doing a phone for the Spring 2012 program this Monday and so I'm trying to prepare as well as possible for whatever is coming up... and I marked down on my application that I have an interest in working at an attraction. I'm curious as to what kinds of things I'll be asked concerning attractions and what I mainly want to know is if working an attraction is very relied on experience.

I mean like... saying I have no experience in attractions do I have no chance at getting a job at one? It's not my one and only option but it's one I really like and I have never done anything like it before. So will me not having experience rule me out of that? thank you!

99.5% of people who go into attractions [this includes new hires to the company that are part time or full time] don't have experience in attractions. If selected to do attractions, you will have an ample amount of time to learn how whatever attraction you are at functions. :) You most certainly will not be ruled out.

One thing to keep in mind when doing an interview is Safety.
Everything is about safety.
Mention the word 'Safety' and you're golden.

Attractions has multiple parts, depending on which location you are at. For example, you might:
- Spiel to guests [Either 'No eating, drinking, smoking, flash...' etc, or something lengthy like Jungle Cruise, Great Movie Ride, or Kilimanjaro Safaris]
- Group guests
- Load and Unload guests
- Physically operate the ride/console
- Assist guests in wheelchairs/ECV's
... And more!!

If you can't tell, I love attractions. :D It's so fun.

Thank you thank you thank you! ♥ I get the gist you work at an attraction hehe... sounds awesome.~
