Questions about AP, AAA and Free Dining

We are planning a trip this summer (we took a break last year and I am in withdrawal). I am considering buying APs two get two trips - one in late Aug. this year and one in early Aug. next year. With all the changes, if I book a room with an AAA rate right now (so we have a room where we want to stay) can I change it to an AP rate when and if they become available? If by some miracle the Free Dining package is offered can I cancel my room only with either AAA or AP rate and do the package without penalties?

Things are still the same, you can book with the AAA rate now and if the AP rates come out you can cancel and rebook at the AP rate. Room only reservations can be cancelled up to 5 days before your arrival date, so you should be fine. If some great package deals come along, you can cancel your AAA rate or AP rate whichever you have and re book with the package deal.

The free dining was offered last year for arrival dates 8/21-10/4 (Hurricane Season). If there were deals for February, they would have probably been posted by now. Usually when the deals come out you find out on this board, you can also check mousesavers.com, that site announces the deals when they come out as well.
