Questions about annual pass

Hi all,i psted this on the wrong board,so i am going to post again!I finally got a room at the Grand Floridian,but i have to pay full price,all the discounted rooms are gone??I will try to use my ap pass when i check in ,(hopeful),buttt my question is this,do you get different rooms when you get a discount,i requested lagoon castle view ,corner room and the cm said it would be no problem(never have they said that before,its always"you can request it ma'm ,but there is no guarantee",which always really bothered me,because someone who reserved a room is for sure going to get what they want arent they,i like yes or no,specially when i am paying,)anyhow ,i am always happy when i am there anyway,just wanted to know about the discounted rooms/Do you get certain rooms or what???

I doubt you will be able to get AP discount at check in. You have to have a reservation with the rate quoted before you check in.

Also, if you are paying for a lagoon view vs. a standard view it would be reflected in the price. The do discount lagoon/water views but it depends on availablity. If a CM said you would definately get the room you request, I would make sure I had it in writing because, like you mentioned, they never guarantee room requests.

Sounds great, Kozmo. And keep trying, often, to get that discount. Ask on the resort board if there are any tips as to when to call, seems I recall seeing that somewhere, when blocks of rooms go into the system. Good luck.
