Questions about an early January trip (3-6th) ?

Hello everyone. A few things have popped up and I might be able to sneak in a trip for my and my wife for the 3rd through the 6th and I need some advice on a few things.

First of all I've never been on these dates and could someone tell me, historically speaking, how crowded are these days usually. I know things will probably be different this year with all the changes coming up but I was just wanted to get somebodies personal experience.

Also is the discount (5%) at Target for Disneyland gift cards still available when you link up your checking account? I'm not crazy about linking my account but the signature passes are pretty pricey and I'd like a save a couple of bucks if possible.

Also does anyone know if they will have the nightmare before Christmas overlay still up or will the huanted mansion be closed to remove everything?

And last but not least, on the first day at the park when you pay for parking, before you activate your signature card, will they refund the parking fee or are you stuck with paying it?

Your dates should be posted. I'm ending on the 3rd, and have known about my hours for quite some time.

All I'm expecting is crowds. But have never been, so can't speak to actual experience.

In terms of Target, I've gotten the 5% discount when purchasing gift cards at Target when using my Target RED card (credit card). It also works if you purchase the Disney Gift Cards at Target.com with your RED card.

HMH is slated to run through Jan 10.
