Questions about Alaska and alcohol...

It's been three years since we have been on a Disney cruise and we are considering going to Alaska next May. It would be my in-laws, myself, husband, 18yr old son, 12 yr old daughter, brother-in-law, his wife, 10yr old son and 4 yr old daughter.

Due to the ages there are things that our family might be able to do but parts of the family can't and that's fine. We will try to do a mixture.

Can you still take alcohol onboard?

Any favorite excursions? Has anyone done the Bering Sea excursion?

Has anyone done the Senses spa villa? Opinions?

What was changed on the Wonder during the last major dry Dock?

1. Each adult may bring 2 bottles of wine or 1 6 pack of beer. No hard liquor.
2. We enjoyed the Bering Crab excursion very much
3. I'll let others comment as I do not usually use the spa

1. Each adult may bring 2 bottles of wine or 1 6 pack of beer. No hard liquor.

And (unless it's changed) you may bring those on at each port. So you could get Alaska Brewery beer in port and bring it back (obviously 6-packs only) for each 21+ guest in your party.

Dcassetta- Did you do the tour or the tour with dinner? I'm wondering if the dinner is worth the extra cost.

We did not, as we booked it outside of Disney to save a few bucks. But, if I recall the price was in line with similar crab dinners at a restaurant. If you enjoy crab, it may be worth it. George Inlet charges $70 for their "crab feast".

My husband I did the couples choice and it was awesome! This was before dry dock but don't think they would have changed anything significantly.
We loved the Liarsville Gold Panning & Lunch with Characters. It was all age friendly and not too expensive. Especially great for the 4 yr old, and for the older people out to FIND GOLD. Had to pull my husband away from the panning area when it was time to leave.
